EnergyREV LEAD for Cyber-Physical Advances in Smart Local Energy Systems

Elena Gaura

Elena is a Professor of Pervasive Computing and Theme Director for Mathematical, Physical and Computational Sciences at Coventry University. Her expertise is with the design of advanced sensor systems to enable data-driven decision-making in complex socio-technical settings. Much of her recent research is to do with conceptualizing, implementing and evaluating the impact of high utility data-to-knowledge chains in distributed energy systems – be they for real-time consumption and distributed decision-making or as off-line enablers. Within EnergyREV she worked to ensure that timely advances in control, AI, cyber-security and measurement were brought to bear to underpin flexible, smart, distributed energy infrastructure designs.
