Luke is a Research Associate at the University of York. Within EnergyREV he worked to investigate the complex web of benefits and co-benefits enabled by Smart Local Energy Systems, and the role of community energy knowledge in energy transitions. Luke previously completed projects at Heriot Watt University working with the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, developing a framework to aid commercial property retrofit. In addition, Luke has experience working with UK policy, particularly exploring supply chain interactions with the Green Deal policy. Overall these work areas have produced a focus on assisting businesses and organisations in generating commercially viable enterprises, whilst also prioritising society and the environment, and treading a pathway to a net zero future.
