Dr Chris Maidment is a Research Associate at the UCL Energy Institute, specialising in systematic reviews. His background in energy includes a PhD looking at the health impacts of household energy efficiency measures and a masters in sustainable development. He also studied the use of research while at UCL’s EPPI Centre, examining how evidence from different fields is assessed, synthesised and developed into guidance for practitioners and policymakers in the UK. As part of the EnergyREV knowledge synthesis team, he helped to conduct a series of rapid realist reviews that helped identify and address knowledge gaps and helped direct the future work of the consortium.
