Maria Sharmina

Dr Maria Sharmina is a Professor in Energy and Sustainability at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research at the University of Manchester. Her main area of expertise is in devising innovative business models for low-carbon energy and circular economy. As part of the EnergyREV consortium, Maria worked with stakeholders to create a taxonomy of business models existing in the energy sector and to co-design new local energy business models.
